What is happening in Gaza??

I do not quite understand what I do not understand about the Pais. Are they not capable of running their own country? Can't they make bread. Can't they farm? They destroyed all the green houses and whatever else they could ruin that was jewish, On the Land that was taken by Israel during the 67 war from Egypt and that a couple of years ago was given to the pals. Which, by their actions proves they cannot govern.
Now they are in Egypt and,Who by the way doesn't want them and are trying to undo what they allowed to happen by trying to push them back into the Gaza Strip. They have detained some Pals with weapons, Thousands have made it through the breach blasted open by Hamas militants (Terrorists) Egypt has finally seen the error of their ways and has come (according to some reports)to the realization that they made a mistake and that the terrorists might be coupling with the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt...Wow, great deduction......We will know soon enough. But....But.....Bush wants an independent state of Palistine??? How, who will or can run it? For a outstanding post on the breach and the aftermath see the Blog"the Rantings of a Sandmonkey" He has an excellent post on the entire situation....

cfs, I think we already know what they would do. they're using fire hoses to try to keep them back. However the damage is already done. Israel already said. They are your problem Egypt. Do what you will. Shortly thereafter, they wanted the breach closed, wonder why, could it be that Israel supplies everything to Gaza and they are getting tired of being fired upon daily by these terrorist.....stay well......

Good point, Tap!

The Palistinians are experts at creating havoc, destroying property, and making war. Three skills they are extremely proud of. Running an successful economy is not on their agenda. The only thing they care about is killing all the Jews ins Israel and claiming what they say is "their land."

I hate the fact that we continue to try to get the Israelis and Palestinians to "compromise." It's a total waste of time because it's not ever going to happen.

Current news on DebkaFile:" Egyptian security forces in Sinai detain first mixed Palestinian-al Qaeda team for attacks on Israel"

I don't understand much of what's going on but I do know that, of late, my heart has been burdened for Israel. When I attempt to talk about it to others, the response is "That part of the world has been in war forever. No one is going to change it now." Maybe this is a valid response...I don't know. But the Word of God is filled with references of Israel being God's chosen people and they will be gathered into His kingdom. I believe it to be our duty to stand by Israel. God is going to bless them and those who are faithful to support them.

Inspired, I am no Theologian, but I do know that the Jews are God's Chosen people and the Bible speaks to the chosen people being gathered into his kingdom. Anyone who denies this is either in denial or not reading the same text that I have been reading. What was it that God said."...In the twinkling of an eye,....." No one knows when the change will occur, but it will happen....Whomever you have been speaking with about your feelings is correct. They have always been fighting in the Middle East over one thing or another, but we have not had in the world what we have today, I think I could go on forever with the changes I have seen in my lifetime. Our Christian God removed from everything, I think if it were possible they would tear down the Supreme Court building because it is loaded with the 10 commandments and reminders of God's presence in our country. Next comes the book burnings.... Only look at Europe to see where we are heading...I ramble....stay well....

Gayle, I need to do some research on this problem. I was in and around that area for about 3 years back many years ago when Beirut was a free port. outside the city limits was a palestinian refugee camp. it was a cardboard type settlement simply awful, In speaking with palestinians at that time there they said they were physically forced from their homes. I don't know how true it was, I never checked. I do know however, they have been at Israels throat for many many years. No treaty can be made with a people who will not acknowledge your existance..and only want you dead...It's crazy... stay well......

Tap, did you know that Hizbullah has built bunkers underneath Palestinian camps? That they have felt it is safe to do so because the Lebanese Army doesn't have any authority to patrol inside those camps?
http://www.jihadwatch.org/archives/013312.php

I'm not blaming civilian Palestinians for this, of course. I'm blaming those who harbor Hizbollah. I feel sorry for any civilians who are innocent victims of any war, but I also understand that the enemy hides behind civilians and uses them for cover, making it impossible for Israel - or us - not to harm civilians. It's always tragic that civilians are victims of situations out of their control... especially tragic for the children!

Gayle, Nothing changes....These terrorist are the same today and always. They do not care about the individual Pal. Nor anyone else. They have a mission and that is to destroy the state of Israel. When you speak of innocent civilians. I do not think most of these people are innocent civilians, not in the sense on speaks of innocent civilians. The kids are taught from when they are old enough to speak about the pigs and infidels...and the beat goes on.....stay well....
