Against my better judgement!

I was going to take the week off, so I sit down to watch the news and what did I find?? Nothing about Fred again.....They did have Ron Paul on and Huck all over the media along with Hillary, Hillary,,Obama,,,,Romney and once McCain, but no Fred. Then I went over to "Dragon Lady's Den" Blog and found a great Video of Fred. He makes more sense in 10 minutes than the rest of those political hacks. I had to say it....Pay a visit to Gayle and listen to a real person speak about the issues and things that matter. Not to just the current generation, but to generations not yet born. I ramble.....

Tapline, I hope the New Year celebrations you attended went well. In our country, its totally different. Every household has an arsenal of firecrackers where the louder and more dangerous is better.

You're right again about Thompson, but the media continues to ignore
him. What he needs is one big break, perhaps a win in a major primary; not necessarily New Hampshire or Iowa. How he will do that without Media is the bigger question.

I'm honored to be in your blogroll, and will definitely add you too to mine.

Where Thompson is concerned, its a New Year, things could change and those front runners could still stumble. As in James Clavell's novel, Shogun, the Japanese war chief Toranaga said to Blackthorne: "Be patient, Patience is a virtue".

You are correcto - nothing on the news about candidate Fred Thompson. It is all about Romney, Huckabee, and finally McCain. On the Democratic Party side of the house it is all about Hillary, Obama, and Edwards. But as per the 2008 cfs predictions the gold medal will go to Edwards and Romney during the primaries - but hang in there with Fred !!!

WHT, Thanks for your comment, but I think the Iraq war has left a bitter taste in my mouth when it comes to the manipulative media. I do not trust them and I know if you call an orange, an apple long enough people will begin to think it is and call it an apple. It's called brain washing... Remember the last election when anchor men were terminated???? Again, agenda driven but they were called on it. If you look at the News, they are reporting only specific individuals, Not all who are running. Some have already folded their tents, because you have heard nothing about their platform from the media. When was the last time you heard about Hunter??? Money talks and BS walks.....Unless you are smart enough to manipulate the Media. Or have enouogh money to advertise constantly being in the eyes of the public, That's what sells and they are selling themselves. Just make a not PC remark and see how fast they pick it up.. That's news, its exposure.....I ramble....stay well.....

I still thank Fred is America only hope in this election.
About Hunter I had never heard of him. Then I got a e-mail with a survey About what the canidates agenda was.He came out #1 on what I believed.
mOST OF THE LIBERAL MEDIA I would not trust in a outhouse with a muzzle on.
God bless Isaac & Matthew

Thanks for the link, Tap! Why not post the video? It has made up several people's minds to vote for Fred. I may keep it up top longer than just a few days. I've also done a couple of updates on it.

And Fred came in third last night in the Iowa caucus in spite of the media and many conservatives ready to count him out. There was a rumor going around that he was going to drop out of the race. According to what I heard on Fox News it was a planted rumor. I didn't hear who planted it though, but it seems someone gave false information to the press.

Since it happens more often than not that the winner in Iowa does not get to be the frontrunner, Fred still has a very good chance, and he's going to surprise people, I think. Some are surprised that he came in third in Iowa. I'm not. The guy is the only one out there who has been consistant in his beliefs and his voting record proves it.

Thanks again! :)

Gayle, Thaks for stopping by. I didn't copy the video, because I get concerned with copywrite laws and all that stuff, so to illeviate that I just refer. It's easier that way, besidess I do not know how. I just started this a couple of months ago and my wife is not the happiest camper in the world when I start reading and typing, so the less I know the less I am at the computer....stay well......

Tapline, I've seen the video. I also think Fred's 3rd place finish was significant and could bode well for his candidacy.

Thanks for dropping by. Keep posting. --Durano, done!

Dur, That is stop in Turkish, The spelling is probably Dir tho....Thanks for stopping by...I know he came in a strong third, but that's about the size of it. They talked about Guiliani and in passing Fred, But on most every post in the blogishere someone has posted well he's lazy, or He's goind to quite, or something negative where most of the remarks are positive. There is undermining gallore. stay well.....

Tap, all you have to do is double left-click on the video. It will take you to "You Tube." To the right of the video is an "embed" code. Copy and paste the entire code to your post on blogger. That's all there is to it. It's legal and you won't be breaking any copywrite codes. :)

By the way, your homepage link doesn't work when you make comments. It's got two "http://'s" in it. You need to fix it, because otherwise people can't get to your blog. Yes, I know... I got here, but I took the time to figure it out. Not everyone will.

I watched the debates last night and imho Thompson did a good job. The only one taking hits from all sides was Romney. Have a fine MAINE evening.

cfs, Thanks for stopping by. Tonight, I don't know how it went. Fred answered all the questions but he was asked once a question having to do with one of his positons on SSA. He was interupted twice while trying to answer it. It seemed to me as if Romney and McCain were the front people being asked questions, followed up by Huck ,Guiliani then Fred. I think it went well, but I didn't like the way questions were asked and the length of time each had to answer the questions. Maybe I'm slanted, but......stay well......

I feel like I'm falling behind "in the times". There's so much going on, so much analysis...it's hard to keep up. I won't be at home tomorrow night until around 8pm, Pacific Coast time. So again, I'll be catching the highlights, or repeat broadcasts.
