Exercises to Maintain Competence

According to "Debka Files",
The US government has two exercises running simultaneously, from Oct15 through the 20th. The first is called "Viglant Shield" conducted by North American Aerospace Defense Command. It is to test our ability to mobilize our resources. The Second exercise is called "Topoff 4". involving 15,000 participants. This includes federal agencies, Australian, Canadian, and the UK. It calls for the deployment of US Warplanes from Canada to Guam. This is an excellent read....

Thanks for the Debka files link.

Maintaining competence is the key. It pleases me that Australian defense sources are part of the exercises. Our way of life needs to be protected; unfortunately, force of arms continues to offer the best shield against the enemy.

Thanks for coming by my blog, I appreciate! Hopefully some of my regular visitors will also discover your blog ...

AI, Thanks for taking the time to read what I have written. Most is information I have gleaned from around the net and news reports....However on the news report side, I weigh the information very critically because they can either slant the news or totally distort its meaning. Rarely, however is it totally wrong. As far as the Iraqi news I use many links from around the globe to glean what I can to form some kind of informed judgement..I also regularly visit milblogs....I ramble,,,stay well...

Too bad we don't have an exercise called "Bomb Iran" ... or do we?

Paul,
you haven't been around??? Yes! I'm sure we have a plan for bombing Iran, but will we exercise that option?? I would venture to say NNNNNNOOOOOO! Perhaps Israel??? but then again they have more problems with Abbas,,,He now wants Jeruselem along with all the rest of the conquored lands...I say NNNNOOOO!! to him too..The Israelites got these lands by conquest and a gift from go....stay well.....
