Just a Thought!!
Seems everything we hear about lately are the results of Opinion surveys by various sources. Although I haven't heard much about this subject,and I might be just a conspiracy nut!!! But,,,,,I was talking to a relative of mine a couple of days ago. She is a die hard Democrat from the old school and I mean Old School...She really thinks the Democratic Party hasn't changed since her high school days, FDR and Social Security etc.. She was really was beside herself because someone had sent her a survey addressed to a Republican, to complete and return, giving her opinion on current events,,,Healthcare etc.... She stated she did not know where it came from, but completed the survey answering the questions as she, a democrat felt following the democratic talking points ie...love government healthcare etc...and sent it back...She thought it was really a joke...I being the cautious one, question where this survey came from and being sent to a staunch Democrat,as though she was a Republican Me thinks that if many of these were sent to the wrong people it would really mess up any survey and for what purpose?????.......Just a thought.....

You're BACK!! Not much going on here. My husband just shouted to me from the living room (I was in the kitchen...where else would a woman be??) His shout was..."I'm SO PROUD of Maine"! He didn't think I would know what he was talking about but I surprised him....I've been keeping up with the gay legislation!!

Sometimes, I haven't left comments on your blog, but rest assured I read them daily....Yes, Maine residents came through on this one now the big one in 2012, We will see how they go then, when the big one runs for senate. I voted yesterday and a moderator asked if I was voting later on in the year for selectman and I asked what party...She said Republican,,,,same as me....and she held up her name tag which had Republican typed below her name.....She was proud of that title.....I advised naturally, if they fight for a natural gas outlet here in town,,the pipeline goes right through my town, but there is no outlet here.....stay well.....
Interesting thoughts. My brother is the Chief of Staff for Senator Eichelberger here in PA and explained to me once how people are polled in some cases but never surveys. Its all done to be used as a political weapon at a later date, not really used for information gathering.

Highboy, Thanks for stopping by and adding your comments. They are always appreciated. You could be right about wheather or not it was a poll or a survey. I passed it along and she referred to it as a survey. It very well could have been a poll.
Either way these surveys/polls are about as consistent in regards to information gathering as silly puddy.
High, I thought they might be used to bolster or back-up ones speech..stay well.....
