Where is the Fairness Doctrine????

This really blows my mind. Just when we think it couldn't get worse. It smashes you streight in the face. First they tried the Fairness Doctrine,,,That didn't go over so good.....NOW!!! Look Whats coming down the pike.....Could this be happening in the Good old US of A..../?????? Well People,,,,,"Our Senators" are trying another route!!!!!
First off,Lets look at who these people are....These are the men and women who were duly elected to represent us, the people' of this once,United States of America, They take an oath, to uphold and defend United States Constitution." What in God's name is happening!! I don't know anymore. Two Senate Bills ,S773 and S778, sponsored by (D)Senator Rockefeller and co-sponsored by (R)Senator Snow, among others and introducted in the Senate The bills create a new department and head, under the Exectutive Branch of Government...The Cybersecurity Act of 2009, As I understand it,,,this bill will allow people to tap into any on-line internet communications without a warrant . I'm not that apted at gleaning the total ramifications of a bill, but......
See "American Thinker" blog for a complete post on this situation here:http://www.americanthinker.com/blog/2009/04/democrats_next target_the_inte.html`

I will definitely look into this deeper, but on it's face, it seems to suck BIGTIME. I guess we knew they would try something soon. Not much surprise that Snowe is signed on to it. Damned RINO!

AA, Thanks for stopping by...As I stated I am not that versed in identifying all the ramifications of a law, but from what I've read it can be really damaging to privacy rights. and they said wiretapping of suspected terrorist was overstepping and it was all over the news!!!

Strangely, the link goes to some day in 2006.

It must be an interesting post, if I read the detail.

Happy Easter, Tap!

As for this post, I do know what is happening. It's called socialism and removing one freedom at a time is the way it works. I'm no longer surprised at any move they make!

Crabby, Thanks for stopping by. I really have been having a bad time looking at all the changes and incidents concerning current events that I can't seem to combine logical taught processes long enough to have any coherance,,,Does that make sense????stay well my friend.....

The Fair-unconstitutional-ness Doctrine is nothing more than liberals admitting that they cannot make it in the free marketplace of ideas.

It seems to me that this is a quiet effort to silence a lot of voices.

I guess I am cynical and assume they are always watching with or without a warrant.

Hey, I figure if they don't like what I have to say they can throw my wrinkled old ass in jail, BUT if they do, they will have to feed me and shelter me and give me a library to study in so I can become a lawyer. All that time, I will not be paying taxes. In essence, if you can't lick them, join them. Besides, they don't have enough jails for all of us.

AA, You might be right. thinks are happening so fast that I can bearly keep up. The media hasn't mentioned too much about this , but neither have they mentioned the upcoming Youth Corp......But there you go.. One of the journalist for the Jerusalem Post had an article about this whole situation with the changes and surrendering of our world leadership status...Shw had a great article. I believe her name was caroline Glick.

Gayle, Thanks for stopping by....I did depart for a few days to open my camp. Half of my kids decided they would go up to help with the opening. When I got there everything was done. The outdoor furniture was outside and the water had been turned on and the plumbling leaks fixed. God Bless my neighbors.....I'm back here, for another few weeks before going back for the summer or at least a couple of month.....
